EL panels emit a uniform, low-power glow from the entire panel surface — ideal for backlit logos, product labelling in dark environments, emergency exit identification and premium retail display applications that demand standout at night or in low light.
Uniform Illumination, Low Power
Electroluminescent panels use a phosphor layer sandwiched between conductive layers. When AC current is applied, the phosphor emits a uniform blue-green glow across the entire panel surface — no hotspots, no shadows, no heat. The result is an evenly illuminated label or graphic that is visible from across a room in low-light conditions.
Adcal Labels supplies EL panels cut to custom shapes and sizes, with printed graphics overlaid on the panel surface. The print layer defines the visible artwork; the EL panel provides the illumination. Applications range from small instrument panel backlighting to large-format architectural graphic panels.
