WHAT MAKES A LABEL DURABLE

Three Variables, All of Them Matter

Substrate

The face material must resist the mechanical and chemical conditions of the application. Polyester for general industrial use. Polycarbonate for chemical immersion. Metallic for permanent marking and high-temperature. Paper fails in all industrial environments.

Adhesive

The wrong adhesive is the most common cause of label failure. High-tack acrylic for most industrial surfaces. Rubber-based for low-surface-energy plastics. Cryogenic-rated for cold storage. Solvent-resistant for chemical plant. We specify the adhesive after understanding your surface.

Print method

Screen printing deposits 3–5× more ink than digital printing. The result is print that resists abrasion for years rather than months. UV-cured inks on our screen presses are rated for 5-year outdoor exposure. We use digital print only where screen print is not appropriate.

What We Guarantee

Our 5-year non-fade guarantee covers screen-printed labels on polyester, polycarbonate and metallic substrates used in the application they were specified for. If the print fades, the adhesive fails or the substrate degrades within five years of manufacture, we replace the labels at no charge.
