Window Label & Sticker Types
The right window label depends on whether you need it to be temporary or permanent, whether you need to see through it from the inside, and how bold you want the exterior graphic. The five main constructions cover every retail and commercial window application.
Window Cling (Static Cling)
Electrostatic adhesion — sticks to glass without any adhesive. Repositionable, removable and reusable. Ideal for seasonal promotions and short-term campaigns. No residue on removal.
Perforated One-Way Vision Vinyl
A 50/50 perforation pattern: opaque from outside (carrying your graphic), transparent from inside. Allows staff to see out while passers-by see your promotion. Popular for floor-to-ceiling window coverage.
Frosted / Etched Glass Vinyl
A translucent white film that mimics the appearance of sandblasted or acid-etched glass at a fraction of the cost. Used for privacy screens, decorative patterns and branded frosted glass effects.
Opaque Self-Adhesive Vinyl
Full-colour print on white opaque vinyl with permanent or removable adhesive. Maximum colour vibrancy and opacity for bold graphic campaigns.
Clear Self-Adhesive Vinyl
Print on clear film — the glass shows through unprinted areas, creating a clean floating-graphic effect. Popular for brand logos and outline lettering.
Applications for Shop Window Graphics
A retail shop window is one of the most cost-effective marketing surfaces available — it faces footfall continuously at no recurring media cost. A well-produced window sticker campaign can increase in-store traffic as effectively as a paid social media campaign, with none of the ongoing expenditure.
Seasonal sale campaigns are the most common application — "SALE", "UP TO 50% OFF", "BLACK FRIDAY" graphics in window cling format can be applied by one member of staff in minutes and removed without residue when the promotion ends. For permanent branding, opaque or clear self-adhesive vinyl carrying a company logo or brand message is the standard approach.
Frosted privacy film serves a dual purpose in professional services environments — it provides visual privacy from outside (for medical practices, financial services, legal offices) while allowing natural light transmission. A custom frosted design incorporating a logo or pattern is markedly more professional than plain white frosting and costs very little more.

Ordering Information
What sizes do you produce?
Any size from a small 100 mm × 100 mm logo decal to full floor-to-ceiling window coverage. We produce to your specified dimensions — no standard size constraints.
Can I have a removable adhesive?
Yes. Specify removable adhesive at order stage and we select a low-tack formulation that peels cleanly from glass after the campaign without leaving residue. Note: removable adhesives have lower initial tack — not suitable for long-term outdoor applications.
How do I apply the labels?
Most window graphics are applied by 'wet method' — spray the glass with a mild soap-water solution, apply the graphic, squeegee from the centre outward to remove bubbles and water, and allow 24 hours to bond. We include application instructions with every order.
Will it damage the window?
Static cling and removable adhesive graphics will not damage window glass. Permanent adhesive graphics may leave a faint adhesive outline on older or porous surfaces — specify removable adhesive if in doubt.
