The Customer

HOG is a UK-based music company operating across live production, studio recording and touring. Their equipment inventory spans a wide range of audio and backline gear transported in flight cases between venues, studios and storage — all requiring clear, branded identification that reflects the company's professional standards.

The Challenge

Music companies moving equipment between venues need labels that do two jobs at once: identify the equipment clearly enough for efficient handling by crew who don't know the inventory, and present the company brand professionally to clients and venue staff who do see the cases.

HOG also needed their labels to survive the specific physical conditions of music touring — equipment cases stacked on touring trucks, handled by multiple crews, exposed to temperature variation and occasional outdoor loading. Previous labels had failed through edge lifting and print degradation within a single tour season.

The Solution

Adcal Labels supplied reverse-printed 450 mic gloss PVC flight case labels with HOG branding. The reverse-print construction seals the print layer under a clear PVC shield — meaning the vivid brand colours are permanently protected from abrasion, grime and UV regardless of how the cases are handled.

Equipment labels on polyester facestock were supplied for audio gear, backline amplifiers and consoles, using a high-tack adhesive system appropriate to the specific panel surfaces in HOG's inventory. All labels carry consistent branding, sequential asset numbers and a unique QR code linking to an inventory management record for each item.
