Why Standard Labels Fail on Exhausts
A standard vinyl sticker starts to soften at around 80°C. Motorcycle exhaust pipes regularly reach 300–600°C, and the surrounding engine bay can hit 150°C+ even away from the pipe.
Standard adhesives liquify, the face material bubbles and shrinks, and inks oxidise to grey within a single riding season.
Our high-temperature labels use specialist substrates — anodised aluminium, polyimide film, or stainless steel — paired with ceramic-based inks and high-temp silicone or acrylic adhesives that form a permanent bond under heat.
